MOLLY HOWARD

Molly Howard was the Assistant Volleyball Coach at HBU. She
came to Houston after one season as assistant coach at Tarleton State. The Texans posted a 22-11 record last year, advancing to the
Championship match of the Lone Star Conference Championship and earning a berth in the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament.
Prior to Tarleton, Howard was a graduate assistant coach for her alma mater, Harding University, in Searcy, Arkansas. The Lady Bisons went 53-14 in those two seasons, including a 28-4 mark in Great American Conference play. Harding earned the No. 8 seed in the 2018 Central Regional Tournament, stunning top-seeded Nebraska-Kearney in the opening round.
Howard was a four-year letter winner, three-year starter and two-time captain at Howard. She was a two-time All-GAC First Team selection, leading the team in kills as a senior and finishing with more than 800 kills and 200 blocks for her career.
The Marianna, Arkansas, native graduated from Lee High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Harding in 2016 and is nearing completion of her Master’s degree in excellence in teaching from Harding.
